UFC 104 Odds: Main Card

Sunday, October 25, 2009, By Jason McChristian

After embarrassing Rashad Evans, Lyoto Machida looks to pummel another opponent doubting his skills.

UFC 104 has an incredible fight card and the main event will pit Lyoto “The Dragon” Machida against Mauricio “Shogun” Rua.

That light heavyweight bout will be the only fight on the card for UFC 104 where a belt is on the line and Machida comes in as a large -450 favorite on the betting lines.

There is also a great heavyweight fight on the card with Cain Velasquez taking on IFL veteran Ben Rothwell. Cain is undefeated and fresh off a victory over Cheick Kongo but he will be tested by the heavy-handed Rothwell with Velasquez favored at -350.

Josh Neer and Gleison Tibau are set to battle it out on Saturday and this fight looks like one of the most explosive on the card. Neer has great standup and nice submission defense while Tibau has just as much experience with a better ground game. Tibau is listed as the -130 favorite to win this one.
